Basic tillage after lucerne and perennial fodder crops is very difficult, especially in dry years. Lucerne is usually on the land for three to four years, forth mowings year, the soils are very compacted due to harvesting techniques and the classic plowing process is difficult. The Digger deep (chisel) cultivator can be used for this purpose.

The Digger deep (chisel) cultivator is equipped with two rows of shares, which have a very low traction resistance enabling a high working speed of up to 12 km / h. The shares penetrate the soil easily, the soil is loosened without mixing with the subsoil. The share with wings incorporate plant residues very well, the wings are height-adjustable according to the depth of processing. With hydraulic securing is possible to lift up one row of shares in difficult conditions, for example with lucerne in the case of headlands, which are particularly consolited from the harvesting technology. Behind the shares are placed discs, which level the surface and incorporate the plant residues. The rear double-spike roller crushes clods and compacts the soil. After tillage with Digger, the soil is ready for sowing in most conditions, without the need for further operations, which is very advantageous in saving time and money.
