Farmet produces screw extruders that cover a range of performance and application. These extruders can be further assembled into extrusion lines. Overall performance is then determined by the number and type of equipment used.

The DMC technology (Dry extrusion of Meals and Cakes) is designed for the extrusion of press cake and extracted soymeal. The main purpose of this procedure is to sanitize these feed components and to increase the content of something called rumen-protected protein.

WCE - Wet Cereal & Legume Extrusion

The WCE technology (Wet extrusion of CEreals) is best for the extrusion of mixtures containing high amounts of starch. These are mainly cereals and meals made from them (corn/maize, wheat, barley, rye, oats), some legumes (peas, beans and horsebeans) and their mixtures.

WFM - Wet Feed Mixtures Extrusion

The WFM technology (Wet extrusion of feed mixtures) is designed for the production of granulated feeds. Typical entry materials include complete compound feed for livestock (especially pigs and poultry), pets (pet food), and fish (fish feed). These mixtures may contain fats and proteins of both animal and plant origin, cereal meals, vitamins, minerals, prebiotics, colorants, enzymes, medicines, and other components.
