On 12 May 2016, the traditional Corporate Day Farmet was held at the company´s place of business. Same as in previous years, the Corporate Day was focused on a presentation of the complex product portfolio of agricultural machinery, including several new products. The practical presentation of machinery on the adjacent field was focused on a demonstration of complex technologies for crop establishment and attracted a large number of visitors. This year´s attendance has been the largest in its history so far. Over 1000 visitors had registered for the event. A significant part of the attendees was represented by foreign visitors from more than 15 markets of Europe and Asia. A considerable number of the visitors were representatives of the scientific community from research institutes and universities.
The event was opened by Ing. Karel Žďárský, Farmet´s managing director, who gave a speech and presented the positive year-on-year development in production and sales, as well as the enhanced cooperation with business partners and end customers. His speech was followed by the main programme which was very rich and consisted of a demonstration of machinery. 29 tractor sets with machines were demonstrated during this three-hour-long programme. Further sets were shown as stationary displays. The individual displays were arranged in various crop establishment technologies and presented the current trends in soil tillage, fertilizer application and seeding. Visitors could also see brand new products, such as Falcon SW, Strip-Till, Softer XL and Fantom 1250 PRO. The programme was accompanied by an expert commentary given by Ing. Michal Nýč, director of the agricultural machinery division.
During a presentation of the OFT division, the FE 500 feed extruder and the Farmer 10 oilseed press were presented. Those who were interested could also visit an experimental press shop at the company´s premises, look at other small-capacity and large-capacity pressing equipment and extruders and get detailed information about the complex programme of technologies for oilseed pressing and feed production.
Next year, the traditional programme of the Corporate Day will be included as part of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the company Farmet´s establishment and it will show a number of interesting things, provide expert and practical information and demonstrations.
