Oilseeds Screw Press - FS 350

The press FS 350 is our latest addition to our broad family of presses. Its development has been backed by recent advances in our research in the fields of technology and seed processing. The press is thus technologically more akin to its larger siblings, FS 1010 and FS 4022. Mounted with a multi-level geometry and longitudinally positioned segments allow a more effective expelling process for both hard seeds low in oil content (grapes, milk thistle) and very oily seeds (hulled sunflower, copra, etc.). The presses can be arranged into technological lines per capacity demands. The press is designed for oilseed processing by both cold and hot pressing, as well as extrusion–pressing.

FS 350 is an expeller press for oilseeds. As the screw shaft shape changes, compression of seeds occurs inside the press, which leads to a gradual separation of the oil from the seeds. Eventually, the oil seeps out through the outlet slits. Changing the shape of the screw shaft or outlet slits can lead to optimization of the process for individual oilseed species and type of technological procedure used.

Farmet offers optional accessories, which will satisfy even the most demanding customer’s needs. The press can be supplemented with a range of various hoppers, conveyors, tanks, seed pre-treatment equipment as well as equipment for pumping, filtration and oil refining. Yet the best solution is usually our turnkey delivery, which fulfills your requirements and guarantees a solution optimized from both the technical and economic perspectives, as well as comprehensive automatization.

Oilseed screw press (expeller) FS 350 is a medium-capacity press with throughput ranging from 8,4 MT up to 24 MT per 24 hrs for standard oilseed (such as rapeseed). The design routinely meets EU specifications; however, it can be adjusted to wiring requirements from local markets (e.g. USA, Canada, etc.). The presses can be equipped with a converter for changing revolutions of the main drive, which allows optimization of the pressing process. The presses are equipped with motors with power output of 22 kW, depending on the technology.
