FAS 800

The aspiration channel FAS 800 is highly sophisticated equipment, specially designed for hull removal after dehulling. This equipment offers ample regulation options for fine tuning the procedure, so that the amount of aspirated hulls is maximized, but kernel fragments are not lost in the process. Aspirators offer a compact solution for dehulling-enabled press shops and are designed with respect to maximum effectiveness of aspiration and energy-efficient operation.

Technology Description

The aspiration channel FAS 800 is a detached piece of equipment, which receives the processed material through two input openings in the upper part. The material is then subject to air flow in a total of eight separation channels, where lighter particles are sucked out, while the heavier pieces flow through the entire unit until they are discharged at the bottom via two separate openings. All eight separation channels are equipped with an individual, manually-operated throttle that can be locked at a desired position to precisely set the air flow velocity. On the side of the unit there is an opening for the suction pipe DN250, which allows coarse-tuning of airflow via a manually-operated throttle. The unit is made of carbon steel; the separation channels are coated on the underside with a plastic of a low coefficient of friction.
