Seedbed formation and seed placement zone. The double disc seeding coulters effectively create a compacted seedbed (V-groove) and precisely deposit the seed to the required depth. Thanks to the high down-pressure, up to 70% of the weight of the machine can be transferred to the seeding coulters. The compacted seedbed and V-groove ensure excellent seed contact with soil and soil water.

The side seed press zone. The copy wheel compresses the V- groove with the seed, causing the seed to squeeze sideways to the soil. There is loosened space above the seed for easy emergence of plants.

Several Technologies for Sowing and Cultivating with the Same Machine

Falcon SW is a modular carrier consisting of a single-chamber hopper with the capacity of 4m3 (or a two-chamber hopper with the capacity of 6m3), a metering device, a fan, a simple transport axle, a control unit and a three-point hitch that allows the connection of various mounted devices. Falcon SW can also be connected to a wide seeding section for sowing narrow-row crops, a mounted seed drill for sowing wide-row crops and a mounted cultivator for strip-till soil cultivation.

Falcon SW can also be equipped with an optional pre-processing section, just like the modular Falcon Seed Drill. The sections can be replaced according to the selected technology.

Mounted Equipment

Wide seeding section for sowing narrow-row crops
The seeding section is characterised by its simplicity and a wide working width. In connection with Falcon SW, it provides high working capacity for sowing common narrow-row crops (cereals, rape, legumes etc.). At the same time, it allows for independent sowing of two crops. The spacing of the coulters is 12.5 cm with an option to switch to 25 cm, or 15 cm with an option to switch to 30 cm.
Mounted sowing machine for sowing wide-row crops
The seeding units for sowing wide-row crops (such as corn and sunflower) together with the application of fertilizer from the Falcon SW modular carrier provide sowing as well as fertilizer application in a single operation. The application of the fertilizer is provided by two fertilizer applicators on both sides of the crop. Versions: 6 – 12 rows
Mounted cultivator for Strip-Till soil cultivation
The Strip-Till cultivator in connection with Falcon SW allows processing soil in strips (the STRIP TILL technology) which has a great effect on anti-erosion measures. During strip till soil cultivation, soil is processed in strips up to the depth of 35 cm. It is possible to apply fertilizer for supply fertilization into the strips at the same time.

The mounting of the drill coulters on the parallelogram provide excellent terrain tracing.

Each drill coulter is mounted independently. The precise sowing depth guiding provides even emergence of the seeds.

The pressure of drill coulters is hydraulically continuously adjustable and the sowing depth can be simply and quickly set using a pin.
