Subsoiler Digger

Subsoiler Digger

1 Deep loosening zone and mixing of plant residues. Loosening depth 9.75"─18.75". The special shape of loosening chisels provides excellent penetration into the densely packed soils with very low traction resistance. The chisels are in two rows. In extreme conditions, only one row of chisels can be used to reduce traction resistance.
2 Wave-leveling zone. Leveling disks also increase the effect of incorporating plant residues.
3 Lump crushing soil compaction zone. Optimum soil reconsolidation ensures good infiltration and soil moisture rise.

High performance

  • The new chisel design has a very low traction resistance and enables a high working speed up to 8 mph.
  • Chisels smoothly penetrate the soil and the soil is loosened without mixing it with subsoil layer, so-called biologically inactive soil.
  • Possibility of lifting one row of the chisel under heavy conditions such as marshes, headlands or when plowing roads after harvest.
  • Two rows of chisel provide a very good stability of the machine and precise depth guiding without the need to use tracing wheels. The high frame clearance of 2' 6" provides excellent pass ability.

Robust design

  • High-strength refined materials used for crucial nodes to ensure long service life.
  • Strongly dimensioned compact and carried frame.
  • The chisels are fitted with carbide plates for long service life.
Protection of tines
The tines are hydraulically protected by a release force at the tip of 2,425 lb. or you can choose the variant with mechanical protection.
Mechanical protection of tines
Version with mechanical tine protection – the safety segment breaks in case of excessive resistance.
Prolonged service life of chisels
The tips of chisels are fitted with carbide plates for long service life, low wear and to maintain optimum geometry.
Leveling disks
The leveling disks direct the processed soil in front of the rear spiked rollers and at the same time provide precise furrow leveling.
Roller
The rear double spiked roller for fine tillage of lumps maintains the quality of the soil as in the presowing preparation in minimizing technologies or as the basic autumn soil tillage for spring crops.
Chisels
The chisels with wings incorporate plant residues very well and the leveling disks together with the double spiked roller perfectly level furrows.

Easy operation

Due to minimum of adjusting points, the operation and subsequent maintenance are very easy steps that anybody can perform.

Adjustment of depth
Easy working depth setting using demarcation washers. In the working position, the machine rests against the rear double spiked roller.
Adjustment of the disks’ height
The height of the leveling disks is set automatically using a parallelogram of the rear roller attachment. The handles for mechanical setting are used for precise tuning.
Hydraulic control of disks
To increase comfort of operator, the machine can be equipped with hydraulic control of the leveling disks. (optional)
Setting of the down pressure
Simple mechanical setting of the down pressure of the first row of the double spiked roller. The down pressure regulates the intensity of lumps crushing. The roller is equipped with maintenance-free bearings with high level of covering.
Slight lifting of tines
For locally more compacted soils the front row of chisels can be lifted a little bit and thus the machine traction resistance can be temporarily lowered. The slight lifting of chisels is advantageous also for simple cleaning of the space among chisels.
Position of wings
The vertical position of wings can be adjusted in three positions and thus obtain optimum incorporation of crop residues for various depths of loosening..
Side deflectors
For more precise connection of runs the machine can be equipped with side deflectors with adjustable height that automatically copy terrain.
Ball valves
To facilitate disconnection of hydraulic circuits of chisels protection, these circuits are during machine shutdown equipped with ball valves.

Proper selection of the type of the rear roller contributing significantly to the final quality of the tillage is very important. The soil is reconsolidated by the roller and then it is the same way crumbled and leveled. The selection of the type of the roller depends on the soil type and on the manner of use of the machine.
