Cooperation with Donau Soja

In the past 2 weeks, our company was actively involved in two events organized by the Association Donau Soja, which promotes the cultivation of GMO free soy in Europe.

These events were held to support Europe's sustainability and self-sufficiency in terms of protein called Protein Transition Tour 2018.

The first event was already the fifth annual conference of the Donau Soja held in the beautiful premises of the newly reconstructed former grain granary in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. The conference presented the results of the work of the organization, especially from the point of view of increasing the soybean land in the Danube region and other direct cooperation with the European Union in support of grant programs for the cultivation of GMO free soy in Europe. Throughout this event, we had the opportunity to discuss with the specialists in the field, as well as with the director and founder of Donau Soja, Mr. Matthias Krön. We found many common topics to talk about, in particular our view on Hexane Free processing of GMO Free soybeans, which is cultivated in Europe. I also introduced our new soy processing solution focusing on energy recovery. We agreed on a joint meeting during the summer vacation to discuss closer cooperation.

A week after the meeting in Germany, a press conference was held at our customer’s, Mr. Grosschedl, in the Austrian town of Hofing. Mr. Grosschedl was here presented as a great example by Donau Soja, who cultivates GMO free soy, processes it directly on our EP1 technology and prepares compound feed mixtures. This conference was held in a unified spirit to support Hexan free processing. The owner himself, Mr. Grosschedl, strongly urged to process soy locally and mechanically. Also other presentations of the participating experts were aimed at supporting the mechanical processing that we promote as our EP1 RECU technology. After the press conference, followed a practical demonstration of our line EP1-1, where Mr. Grosschedl, together with our Austrian dealer, Mr. Hlavenka, showed the visitors the soybean line.

As it happens, this perfectly pre-planned demonstration of our technology was in danger after a crash of an extruder bearing that happened 1 day before the event. Fortunately, thanks to the great work of our service department, this crash was repaired within 24 hours after it was reported, which is absolutely unprecedented result. Mr Grosschedl himself was utterly taken aback by our operatives, and had just words of praise for us at a personal press conference. I would like to thank to my colleagues who, during the weekend, succeeded in removing this crash.

I believe that, thanks to our joint cooperation with Donau Soja, we will be able to build many technologies in Europe, as in the case of Mr. Grosschedl's reference technology.
