On 9 – 12 October 2018, the traditional Agrosalon exhibition was held in Moscow. This event takes place once every two years and attracts attention of many prospective as well as existing customers. Both divisions – agricultural machinery and Oil & Feed Tech division – are presented at the exhibition. The exhibition was organized in liaison with our mutual dealer, Rostline Agroservis.
Our joint exposition included 5 machines (Falcon SW, Digger COMPACT, Softer, Farmer 20) and also our new product IMPACT 8.
This is the first time this new machine (IMPACT 8) has been presented both in Russia and elsewhere at all. The general public as well as experts showed immense interest in this new release throughout the duration of the exhibition.
The disc plough-harrow Softer 8 PS is the best-seller in many places in the world thanks to its versatility and reliability. Seed drills were represented by Falcon SW with a 9mm seeding bar for high-performance seeding of any common crops. Deep cultivators were represented by the Digger 3 COMPACT which is popular for its deep tillage of soil with fertilization.
Agro holding representatives did not miss the opportunity to take part in the exhibition. “Even though the exhibition is expensive, it is important to be there,” says the sales director of Farmet a.s., Ing. Josef Čech, and adds: “The Russian market requires the best technology, high level of service and an active approach from the manufacturer.” Agrosalon Moscow attracts customers from Eastern Europe and Asia.
“The exhibition is a traditional meeting point with our long-term customers,” reveals the OFT director, Miluše Pfaffová, MBA.
The field demonstration of the Farmer 20 press by the OFT division attracted many prospective customers.
During the exhibition, we managed to sign a contract for the supply of Compact EP2-2x pressing shop to the Urals. This was followed by a number of other negotiations concerning supply of complex technological assemblies all over Russia.
Thanks to this exhibition and personal negotiations, we have optimistic prospects of the future and further years of active work in Russia.
