|Farmet Company Days in Česká Skalice started with a conference with business partners and key clients. More than 900 guests from all over the world gathered at well-equipped large-capacity premises. The main points on the agenda included the following: welcoming Farmet´s guests and reminding them of the main milestones in the history of the Agricultural Machinery division and Oil & Feed Tech division. The third part was devoted to the present and to our visions for the future. The main message given by the managing director and Farmet´s owner, Ing. Karel Žďánský, was that he wants to build the company on family foundations and further develop comprehensive services for our customers. He also introduced the extended slogan of the company:|
The afternoon programme was very practical. At more than 60 plots of land, a presentation of more than 14 main growing technologies for most common crops had been created during ¾ of a year. The presentations demonstrated work of recommended machines and included illustrative descriptions of the technological processes and their advantages. No other exhibition can compare with such a powerful and illustrative presentation. The Oil & Feed Tech division presented a comprehensive overview of oilseeds and vegetable oil processing technologies and feed extrusion technologies. Both dynamic and static demonstrations of the machines provided a great illustration for our business partners and existing and potential customers who are interested in large technological assemblies.
This year, active demonstration of technology was focused on wide-mesh machines and deep soil tillage machines. Furthermore, some new products were introduced which are currently being developed and tested and will be launched to the market gradually, from next year onwards.
The choice to demonstrate mainly wide-mesh technology was not random. Farmet belongs to the leaders in the area of wide-mesh technology and tries to keep ahead of its competitors. Wide-mesh machines by Farmet, with high-strength steel technology, offer above standard parameters so there was loads to demonstrate.
Active demonstrations included the following wide-mesh machines: Kompaktomat, Fantom, Softer, Diskomat, Duolent and Triolent. From the area of deep soil tillage machines, the Digger chisel cultivator and new Triton and Terrion machines were shown. The highlight of the presentation was an active demonstration of seed drills, both the wide-mesh Falcon SW and the compact Falcon Pro.
