The new system offers a highly intuitive, clear and user-friendly environment for operation, while enabling very fast machine settings and significantly reducing unwanted downtime. All key machine functions are clearly displayed on the large screen of the iPad tablet with high resolution. Thanks to its high intuitiveness, operating the seeder is very easy and allows the driver to use a very wide range of functionalities without the need for complex training. The system is ISOBUS compatible and cooperates with the tractor's Task controller during work.
The system offers a number of highly automated functions for quick calibration of dosing and section control. Automatic creation of tramlines or prediction of the need to fill the hoppers is a matter of course. All functions of the seeder are monitored during work, including the seed flow to individual seeding coulters. Highly accurate optical seed flow sensors ensure a high level of control over the sowing process, including counting individual grains for automatic correction of the dosage. Electrically or electrohydraulically driven metering units ensure highly accurate metering with minimal deviations.
Interchangeable rollers enable sowing of a wide range of crops with seed rates of 1–350 kg/ha. When the seed drill is supplemented with the Microdrill PRO unit, sowing of up to 4 products is possible with convenient control from one monitor. Precise seed placement is ensured by electronically adjustable coulter pressure of up to 150 kg per coulter.
For Impact precision seed drills, the Farmet Connect system offers precise monitoring of grain uniformity with a clear display of instant data on sowing accuracy. This allows the driver to optimally adapt the machine settings and working speed in each part of the plot to achieve the desired sowing accuracy. Electronic control allows setting of pressure of up to 350 kg per coulter. This allows for high working speeds and high daily output.
The new Farmet Connect electronic systems are connected to the Internet via LTE as standard and enable remote data transfer. This makes it easy to transfer data from fields, as well as manage systems and expand their functionality. The new Farmet Connect electronic system brings a unique level of user comfort to the Falcon, Freya and Impact precision seed drills.
