The press FS 1010 is a versatile next-generation expeller press for oilseeds. The heart of the press lies in the multi-level pressing geometry. As the shape of the screw shaft changes, compression of seeds occurs inside the press, which leads to a gradual separation of the oil from the seeds. Eventually, the oil seeps out through the outlet slits. The longitudinal organization of the plates allows a larger drainage area and therefore a higher oil yield. Changing the shape of the screw shaft or outlet slits can allows optimization of the process for individual oilseed species and type of technological procedure used.
The expeller press FS 1010 is a large capacity press that reaches a performance between 22 and 88 tons per day. The design routinely meets EU specifications; however, it can be adjusted to wiring requirements from local markets (e.g. USA, Canada, etc.). The presses can be equipped with a converter for changing revolutions of the main drive, which allows optimization of the pressing process. The presses are equipped with motors with power output of 55 – 132 kW, depending on the technology.
