Strip-till cultivator Strip-Till

1 Crop residue disruption zone. Crop residue is effectively lifted into the inter-strips. The first row of disc harrows is optional equipment.
2 Cutting zone. A disc with a perpendicular angle setting cuts through the layer of the soil profile.
3 Loosening and fertilizer placement zone. Loosening to a depth of 20–35 cm using chisels with special geometry ensures the formation of wide loosened strips. Granular fertilizers are placed in these loosened strips at two depths.
4 Strip forming zone. Large side discs ensure efficient forming of loose strips while increasing the quality of crumbling clods.
5 Final clod crumbling and soil reconsolidation zone. Optimum soil reconsolidation ensures good water infiltration and soil moisture rise.

Technics

Strip-till cultivator Strip-Till

  1. The front disc Ø 500 mm with the vertical angle cuts through the layer of crop residues. The spreading disk Ø 370 mm places crop residues into inter rows.
  2. The spreading disk Ø 370 mm places plant residues into inter-rows.
  3. The massive share (with side discs, Ø 600 mm) loosens soil in a strip up to the depth of 35 cm.
  4. The double rear spiked roller crushes clods and compacts the top layer of the cultivated row.

Provides several operations in a single pass – places crop residues into interrows, loosens soil up to the depth of 35 cm where fertiliser can be applied at two depth levels, crushes any potential clods and then compacts the processed strip.

Soil processing up to the depth of 35 cm

The construction of the frame and working parts is designed for processing soil up to the depth of 35 cm. The robust share enters the depth of soil to loosen it and process it in the form of a strip.
