On June 14, 2025, in the village of Pysarivka in the Odesa region, the Regenerative Agro Conference ReAgro25 took place at the premises of Mičurina+ LLC – the first large-scale event in Ukraine dedicated to regenerative agriculture. The event brought together more than 1,000 participants, including farmers, scientists, consultants, and experts, all striving to implement sustainable practices to restore soil fertility, adapt to climate change, and ensure economic efficiency in farming operations. The conference served as a platform for knowledge sharing, showcasing innovative solutions, and discussing strategies for the sustainable development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

Farmet OFT s.r.o., a leading company in oilseed processing, has secured a new patent for a method to remove glycidol esters from refined oils and fats. This innovative process, conducted in a distillation column with a pre-stripper and a special packing section, focuses on efficiently removing contaminants while maintaining high oil quality.

Despite a slight decline in sales in 2024, caused by the general market crisis, Farmet is optimistic about the future. Stable sales in traditional markets and successful acquisition of new markets predict future demand growth. Therefore, the next phase of investment was launched - the construction of new production capacities. In the next few years, the gradual construction of new production and office space is planned in the vicinity of the existing production plant. Doubling of the current production capacity is expected within 3-4 years. The investment will also include new cutting-edge production technologies to further increase quality and productivity.

Farmet company has had another very successful year. The year 2023 meant further increase in sales and profit for the company.

Late last year, the first project in Tanzania involving soybean pressing with extrusion and physical refining of soybean oil was successfully put into operation.

Farmet achieved record sales and profits in 2022 and continues to invest massively.

Every year, the number of users of Falcon seed drills is increasing, using the front chisel sections for strip loosening to seed canola, allowing fertilization and seeding into the loosened strips in one operation. Excellent results push this technology to the front, and thanks to its efficiency, strip sowing is gradually becoming the standard for sowing rapeseed and other crops.

This event is the largest agricultural forum in Ukraine, bringing together more than 700 visitors, more than 40 exhibitors and 30 leading speakers.

In the middle of May, the 60th annual conference was held in Strážnice. This international conference focused on Oils and Fats is organized by the Czech Chemical Society, specifically its Expert Group on Fats, Detergents and Cosmetic Chemistry.

Farmet a.s. together with the local dealer Seed-Imex Kft. (HU) has put into operation a plant for complex processing of oilseeds (mainly rapeseeds) using the technology of two-level cold pressing (CP2) including automatic oil filtration (AFF) and Farmet Intelligent Control (FIC) and visualization system.

At the beginning of this month, a delegation of our existing customer from Estonia visited Farmet. This customer is a supporter of the vision of local processing of agricultural products (specifically rapeseed) in the place where it is grown and then used in the local feed and food industry.
